Booking Conditions

We welcome your interest  -  thank you.  To secure your online booking,  use the Book Now Tab.  When you book a date,  you will be prompted to fill in your details and to pay the full cost of the tour.  Apologies for this, but it greatly simplifies the booking process.  Pay online with your debit/credit card via the secure Stripe Payment link.

All prices are in $AUD and include 10% GST and are subject to change without notice. Once the tour is booked and paid, prices will NOT be changed by us. Seasonal rates may apply,  but would be shown on the booking page.

Inclement Weather

As with any outdoor activity,  we cannot guarantee fine weather. If the BOM weather forecast is for heavy rain or dangerous wind conditions,  we will postpone and reschedule the tour. Lake Macquarie is classed as smooth waters,  however being a large lake, conditions can get rough at times when strong winds prevail.  Rescheduled tours would usually occur within 3 months of the original booking date and to suit you, the guest.

Overseas or Interstate visitors, on short holidays may not have the option to reschedule and a Full Refund would be made to them.

If the customer cancels the tour with 31 days or more notice, the full tour fee will be refunded.

If the customer cancels the tour with less than 31 days of notice, there will be a refund of 50% of the full tour fee.

If the customer cancels the tour with less than 7 days notice, there will be no refund.

In the event of a mechanical problem to the vessel, Lake Macquarie Sailing Tours will reschedule the tour to another date. If this is not possible for you, a full refund will be made.

Guests are welcome to BYO food, alcoholic beverages and ice, apart from the refreshments we serve as normal. A spare cooler is provided onboard. Responsible consumption of alcohol is to be adhered to as per normal boating behavior.

There are excellent Cafes on the Lakeside for before, during or after the tour.  Catering on the vessel can be arranged as a special request.

Swimming and Island Walking

The waters are beautiful and clean and the waterway is generally very sheltered. Guests can swim only when the boat is anchored or

secured to a mooring.  Swimming off the yacht is at the guests own risk.  If you wish and time allows, you may walk on the Island,

again, at your own risk.
