Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get there?

From Sydney,  you can get a train to Wyee or Morriset Rail Stations,  then a Taxi or Uber ride to the yacht pickup location, approx. 20 minutes.

Alternatively, by car it is 80km north along the M1 to the yacht pickup location ( see detailed directions on the Contact Page )

How many passengers can be onboard?

The boat is licensed to carry up to four passengers,  plus two crew. Non Swimmers will be provided auto inflating life jackets  and children under twelve to wear supplied life jackets.

Do I need to know how to sail?

No. You can just sit back and relax or be involved at the helm or sail handling,  if you desire.

Are sailing lessons included?

Formal Sailing lessons aren't included. However our goal is to pass on sailing and vessel handling skills during the cruise, if that interests you.

How do I book a tour?

You can book and pay online via the Book Here tab. The more notice the better, so we can make sure everything is well organized for you.

Can I book a tour with 1 person?

Yes you may,  however you would be paying for normal four persons charter cost.

Are children allowed on the yacht tours?

Yes they are welcome.  Note: Children under twelve are required to wear a life jacket whilst on the yacht or tender.

Child size Life jackets are provided.

Yachts have two gunwale safety lines ONLY, these will not prevent a child escaping over the side!

Thus, children under 4 years old are encouraged not to attend tours or must be strictly supervised by a parent.

Can I bring alcoholic beverages? 

Yes you may, as we are not licensed to sell or serve Alcohol.  Responsible drinking by guests whilst on the vessel is to be adhered, as per general boating safety protocol.

Is food or drink provided? 

Yes, we provide hot beverages, juices, lemonades and water.  A light fruit and also a dips platter is served during the voyage ( any food allergies please let us know via the booking form ).

Are voyages cancelled due to bad weather ?

Yes, they can be. Due to predicted heavy rain or excessive strong winds via the NSW BOM site. Cancellations are called by the skipper.  New dates would be arranged - see the Terms & Conditions Page

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable casual cloths, sneakers, sun protection and a warm jacket in the cooler months.  Swimwear in the warmer months if you want.
